Research interests: I specialise in Stoic philosophy. My current research project focuses on non-rational animals in Stoicism and how looking at the Stoics' thinking on animals helps us better understand their complex attitude towards human rationality. I also work on classical Indian Buddhist philosophy, especially the works of the Madhyamaka philosopher Śāntideva.
