Research interests: My research focuses on ancient Greek philosophy, particularly Plato, at the intersection of metaphysics, cosmology, and theology. I am currently developing my DPhil research on Plato and Greek mystery religion into a monograph, The Mystic Plato: Early Orphism and the Birth of Metaphysics. My next major project, Plato's Theopolitics, explores how theological and metaphysical principles ground political authority and normativity in Plato's Republic, Statesman, and Laws.
